The inspiration for writing this came when I was looking at the cover of one of my mother's piano Christmas books. The song titles started to tell a story which I have called "letter from Santa" :)

'Let There Be Joy To The World' as we gather around you 'O Christmas Tree' and sing 'The Coventry Carol' while 'Up On The House-Top' 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town'. 'Hark The Bells Are Ringing' and 'Here We Come A-wassailing' in happy anticipation since we get 'A New Deal For Christmas'.
'God Rest You Merry Gentlemen' the 'Angels We Have Heard On High'! 'Hark The Bells Are Ringing' to count down 'The Twelve Days Of Christmas' as we wait for 'Jolly Old Saint Nicholas'. 'O Little Town Of Bethlehem' 'I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day' and 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' and a happy new year!
